Restaurants
It is possible to book table d’hôtes (diner) with us or cook for yourself in our guest kitchen (see our accommodation page), but there are also quite a few nice restaurants near La Villonnière b&b. Here is a list compiled from restaurants we have visited ourselves or heard good stories about from our guests.
NEW! It is also possible to order a 3-course menu from Au bon vivre for 18 euros (one day in advance). You can then collect this (hot) from the restaurant in the village (5 minutes’ drive). For children, there is an adapted menu at a reduced rate. Au bon Vivre is not open on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Phone number: 00.33.6.41073564. If necessary, we can place the order for you.
Please note that restaurants are often closed on public holidays, except for some in Argenton-sur-Creuse. And you can still get a pizza from the pizza vending machine in Le Verger (5 minutes’ drive).

La Gamelle (29 min)
Favourite restaurant of ours. You eat outside on a large terrace covered with parasols and overlooking Lac Eguzon. Ideal for evening meals with children as you can get there early. Do make reservations in summer. Karaoke on Thursday evenings and bands perform on Friday evenings.
